Boarding...

L took me snowboarding for Valentines Day! It was really fun, I have only been once before so it took me a little bit of time to remember how to stay up... but I think I improved a little bit! I fell a lot, and was really slow, but we had a blast!  It was really weird to be away from M.J. for that long though...... Here is the one picture we got from the  day.

I guess we got two! The funny part of the day was the fact that I did manage to run into a slow sign!

Six Months Old!

I can not believe that I have a six month old.  It seems like it has been forever sense I was pregnant but at the same time it feels like just yesterday I was taking him home from the hospital... aah the dilemma of having children... they grow up too fast.  Our little M.J. is already crawling, he is all over the place and getting in to everything.  His favorite thing is the dog food, he loves spreading that everywhere!  He can also pull himself on just about anything... which makes it very difficult for this Momma to get anything done!  He is liking solid foods OK, but he gets super distracted with anything and everything, and now has learned to pull himself out of his bumbo, so I can no longer use that as a make shift high chair, it looks like I will have to cave and buy one!  His favorite thing to say is BA BA.... I'm not sure what it means he just says it all the time no matter what is happening.... I'm hoping it will turn into MA MA one day!  But, he is just the most incredible little boy, I don't know how I got so lucky.  He is just so fun, and has so much personality.  He had a pretty traumatic week this past week though unfortunately, most was his crazy parents fault.  Monday, he got his six month shots, which he took like a champ!  Surprisingly he barely gained a pound sense his four month appointment, I think he has lost a little weight sense he has started crawling, but he was 19.8 at his appointment.

Then his mom is an idiot, and locked him in the car with her keys, while she was at the store.... I had the biggest heart attack! Luckily my friend was with me and was able to keep me sane, and even Luckier the police were there within 5 min, and had the car open in 30 seconds.  So it ended up being OK, but I still felt awful!  Then the next day he fell of the bed and bonked his head.... So lets just say we are ready for this week to be over.  It hasn't been the best!  But we are moving on and getting ready for our big move to Tennessee and Mississippi in a few weeks.  I am not too excited.... I mean I am excited we will be with L this summer because last summer was awful and really hard... but it is going to be a crazy couple of months, moving from place to place, with our cute little M.J. and crazy K(our little doggie).  We are going to miss Grandma and Grandpa, and Aunts and Uncles helping us out.  It will just be Mommy and Daddy.... while Daddy is working crazy busy hours..... but enough of me venting.... I just need to have a positive attitude and everything will turn out great!  (Hopefully if I say that enough it will)  Here are some pictures of our little M.J. at six months.... I still can't believe how much he is changed and how fast he is growing.

Yes I am a crazy mom and made him  a little 6 month old cake... well bought him and wrote on there six months (same thing right) lol.  We also got him a few little gifts to celebrate like the little einstein piano stand and play.  He really likes that.  But we are just so happy with M.J. and I feel so blessed that I get to stay home with him and take care of him... it is a dream come true to spend all my time being a mommy!  I love it and I love my little man so much!  We are so blessed!

First time playing on grass

It was a gorgeous day today, so we went and took M.J. out to play... He played on grass for the first time. ... he didn't love it LOL! I had to take some pictures anyway! I love my little M.J.

Perfect Game!

We took M.J. bowling the other night.  He actually seemed to enjoy all the lights and the action of watching little kids bowl.  We had him help us push the ball down the little cheater ramp thing and he seemed to like that too.  He helped Mom get her best score ever of 94!  Lol, I am not very good at bowling, but overall we had a really fun night, and It was fun to have M.J. enjoy himself as well!

Oscar Sunday!

As a tradition with my family every time the Oscar's roll around we dedicated dinner to the movies nominated for best picture.  This year it was kind of tricky to come up with dishes, especially with A all the way in San Francisco!  I think I still did a decent job with coming up with dishes, some were a little stretched but the food was all delicious so I think it was a smashing success!  True to Oscar form the most random movie the Artist one the Oscar, maybe I will watch it.... but it is in black and white and silent.... there is a better chance I will re-watch something before I choose that movie.  Here are the pictures of the food we did for each film.

Croque Monsieur's Sandwiches for Midnight in Paris

Delicious Polish Dogs from Costco for Incredibly Loud and Extremely Close.

Stuffed Cabbage for the Tree of Life! There were my favorite! So Delicious!
Pretzels for the Baseball movie Money Ball.

Black and White cookies for the Artist

Pina Colodas for the Descendants!

Minis Delicious Chocolate Pie From the Help

Chocolate and Almond Stuffed Crescents From Hugo

"Carrots" for War Horse!

Overall it was such a fun evening! And the food was delicious!

Lebron time...

Lebron James came to Utah last weekend, L is a huge fan of Lebron, so we tried to get last minute tickets to the game..... This was the camera zoomed in as much as possible.... lets just say that we both got nose bleeds!  We still had some fun, and in a surprising twist the Jazz took home the victory!
