Hoppy Easter!

I was kind of upset that M.J.'s first Easter took place where it did, we just moved to Memphis for L's summer sales, and we were living in the yuckiest Hotel Ever! I found a cockroach crawling on M.J. during his nap, Ya it was disgusting.... SO happy and glad we are out of there forever.  But we still tried to make the best of it. The Easter Bunny brought M.J. a Elmo Basket with some new treats for him to try, he was so excited and tried to stick one of the Eggs in his mouth immediately.

We then got ready and went to Church.  The program was very good, but L and I were shocked at how many Children the ward had.  There were seriously like at least 20 babies under the age of two! It was crazy, and a little rowdy.  M.J. did not want to sit still at all so he was a handful as well.  After, Church we met up with some of the other people out for the summer and went and played Frisbee golf.... well M.J. and I watched with one of the other wives, while the boys played lol.  It was fun to get out though and enjoy the fresh air and nature.  K was in love with it, she was running all over the place and just having so much fun! Then we came back and got together for a little Sunday dinner.  One of the other wives made a delicious roast in her crock pot so we went and had a picnic outside, sense we weren't keen on eating inside the nasty hotel.  It was a pretty fun Easter overall.  I'm so happy that there are some really cool wives out here that make L being gone all the time better.  It has been great to hang out with these girls!  Apparently we are suppose to be moving into our Apartments Monday, so we will see what happens, I would be fine staying at the Hotel we are at now, because it is clean, has a pool and hot tub, free food for Breakfast, and Dinner and there aren't bugs crawling all over my child!  Here are a few more pictures from Easter!

M.J. Is Seven Months Old

My little boy is 7 months old today. He is quite the little guy too. He is so happy most of the time squealing and smiling at complete strangers. He hasn't developed the stranger danger thing yet. He is quite the adventurous little boy too he is crawling all over the place, pulling himself up on anything and everything and eating dog food..... Not sure how that happened but at least he didn't get sick. I'm not sure how much he weighs right now I'm guessing around 20lbs but he is wearing 12 month clothing now... I can squeeze him into some nine month stuff but most everything is 12 months. He doesn't have any teeth yet but he is really liking eating he loves the little baby puffs! He could eat those all day! He also learned to drink out of a straw and a sippy cup so I guess we will just skip the drinking out of a bottle phase. He sits very well too, and has learned to climb out of his bumbo. He is just growing so fast and learning new things every day! He can climb up stairs but hasn't mastered down yet. We just love this boy so much and his still bald head! We are so grateful for him and so thankful that he is so happy and healthy!!! Happy Seven Month Birthday M.J.!!!!

Memphis... We are Here!

We made it to Memphis! It was a long three day drive (with many stops for M.J.) but we finally rolled into town about 3p.m. Sunday.  L is very excited to get working for the summer! I'm glad he is excited, because I don't know how he does his job day after day, but I'm so grateful that he is such a hard worker and he provides so well for M.J. and I.  I had a pretty hard time when we first got here, because of all the hype and excitement of moving and then "Bam" reality hits we are actually here..... and lets just say the hotel we are staying in right now is not the nicest...... we are on the first floor and our windows have no screens so L just climbs in and out of the window instead of using the door..... also one of our windows does not lock so thats pretty scary.  We also love the fact that the people next to us smoke like crazy especially at like 10:30 at night when we are trying to sleep and all we can smell is smoke.  I would take pictures but I don't think I want to remember this time.  But I can rough it for a week, until our real housing will be ready.... lets just hope that its as nice if not 100 X nicer than this place we are in! Its already really hot here in Memphis though, it is like 80 degrees outside and humid... it is going to be a hot summer!  M.J.  is doing awesome though! He is such a trouper, and growing so fast! He will be 7 months tomorrow I can't believe it! More about that later! For now here is a picture from our drive... It was little M.J.'s turn to drive!

New Home... Kind of

Well we did it! We put money down on a lot in Centerville for a town house to be built! We are so excited! We will finally have our own little home for our family!

Here are some pictures of us on the lot before it is built!
If you look in the back that is kind of what our new little home will look like! And we have an awesome view of the beautiful Centerville Mountains! It should be done in the middle of August so perfect timing for us to come home from the summer.

Zoo Fun

So L's Mother and Sister came into town because his mom had to spend some time working here in Utah, so we decided it would be fun to go to the zoo.  I have not been to the zoo sense well forever so I was excited to go and see what cool stuff they had.  It was a pretty nice day outside, it was a little chilly but it was very sunny, and the zoo was almost empty so it was an awesome experience. My favorite was the Giraffes! I love Giraffes they are so awesome! I would love to have a pet Giraffe!

The Elephants were cool too!

Gorillas are crazy cool too, especially because I had just watched Tarzan so it was cool to see one up close!

Of Course M.J. had a lot of fun, he didn't really react to any of the animals, I think he still is a little young and unaware of what goes on exactly! But I had to get some cute pictures of him anyways!

We also had an amazing time on the train.... lets just say if you haven't ridden it you are not missing anything!

We had a lot of fun and we were so glad that L's sister and two of her kiddos came with us!
