5 months old

I can not believe that my little boy is 5 months old! We celebrated his 5 month old birthday a little while ago, and I am a little bit late posting this but oh well.  We weighed him the other day, just on a store bought scale and it said he was 20.5lb.  Crazy, I can't believe that.  He has already more than doubled his birth weight!  But then, I read this articles about women giving birth to 14 or 15lb babies and he seems small compared to them!  Well he is just all over the place these days, well trying to.  He is so close to crawling he gets up on his knees and moves a few inches and then gives up lol.  I don't think he realizes how close he is yet.  He is very demanding though, he wants to be entertained all the time, and he always wants the attention on him, which makes it very difficult to get things done around the house, but I try to enjoy every day with him.  He is being a little bit of a stinker though because he refuses to sleep in his own bed.  We get him to fall asleep in there and then 20 min later he is screaming his head off like he is being tortured.  Or we get him to sleep and then gently move him into his bed and it is like we but him on a bed of nails he immediately starts screaming.  So he has been sleeping in our bed, which is not that much for for Mommy and Daddy, but I would rather get some sleep than no sleep at all!  Hopefully we will be able to get him in his own bed soon.  He loves books, and he loves plastic.  He also learned how to blow spit bubbles and vibrate his lips together so he loves to do that.  He is just so much fun!  He also loves other little kids, he just stares and stares at other kids whenever they come around, so we probably will have to give him a little brother soon.  But we just love our little M.J. and can't wait to see what happens next!

We got him a little Walker so he can learn to walk, he hasn't quite gotten the hang of it yet! He will soon though!
He started sticking out his tongue all the time.  It is so cute because L does it too when he is concentrating.  Father like Son.
